MEDICAL-GRADE MANUFACTURING

Professional Round Liner Tattoo Cartridges for Precise Line Work

At R&G Bio, we manufacture disposable tattoo needle cartridges for tattoo shops, distributors, and permanent makeup artists around the world.

Our round liners do one thing well: they draw clean, accurate lines. We carry them in #08, #10, and #12 gauges, with needle counts ranging from tight 1RLs up to thick 14RLs. The ink feeds consistently, the needle sits stable in the grip, and the performance holds steady from the first cartridge in the box to the last. Fine detail work or heavy outlining—either way, the line goes where you send it.

Each cartridge has a membrane to stop backflow. They’re individually sealed and EO gas sterilized, with batch numbers for full traceability. Needles are 316L surgical stainless steel, housings are medical-grade polymer, and the whole operation runs inside ISO Class 7 cleanrooms under ISO 13485.

What Are Round Liner Cartridges?

Round liners are the default in most shops. The needles pack into a tight circle, every tip converging on one point. That gives you a single, sharp hit against the skin.

The number is your needle count. Grab a 1RL or 3RL when you need something fine and delicate. Step up to a 9RL, 11RL, or 14RL for thick, bold lines that push more ink with each pass.

Primary Uses & Applications

Outlining & Line Work: Creating the foundational outlines and contours of tattoo designs

Detailed Patterns: Intricate geometric designs, mandalas, and fine ornamental work

Lettering & Script: Clean, readable text tattoos with consistent stroke weight

Fine Details: Small accents, highlights, and delicate elements in complex pieces

PMU Hair Strokes: Natural-looking eyebrow microblading and hair stroke simulation

Dot Work: Precise stippling and pointillism techniques

Size Selection Guide

1RL–3RL: Micro-lines, fine details, PMU hair strokes, minimalist designs

5RL–7RL: Standard outlining, general tattoo work, medium patterns

9RL–14RL: Bold outlines, heavy traditional work, tribal patterns, large fills

FAQs

RL keeps the needles packed in tight. That concentration lets you lay down a solid, precise line with every pass. RS spreads them out wider for softer, more diffused shading instead of that crisp hit.

>> See Lining vs Shading: Which Cartridge to Choose

RL is all about precision—sharpest, most concentrated lines you can get. Magnums are your workhorse for packing in broad color. Flats have their own niche uses. When you need clean, crisp edges, RL is what you grab.

Anything that needs a sharp edge—outlining, fine-line work, script and lettering, portrait details, traditional bold lines, stippling and dotwork. PMU artists use them for hair strokes and eyeliner too.

316L surgical-grade stainless steel needles in medical-grade polymer housings. We make them in ISO Class 7 cleanrooms under ISO 13485.

Each one gets individually EO-gas sterilized and sealed in its own blister pack. Every unit is batch-traceable, so you know exactly where it came from.

There’s a membrane inside that blocks ink or bodily fluids from traveling back up into your machine. Keeps both you and the client covered.
