The needles are soldered even closer than a standard round liner, forming a smaller, sharper point. Paired with a long taper, the super tight liner releases ink slowly and evenly — no blowout, no feathering, just clean hairline strokes for fine line, micro detail, lettering and stipple work. Sizes 1RL–9RL in #08, #10 and #12.

01 Ultra-Tight Machine Soldering
The needles are drawn closer together than a standard RL and soldered by machine, so the point forms the same way on every unit. Tight tolerances here are what keep lines hairline-thin and consistent across a whole batch.
02 Safety Membrane System
A medical-grade elastic membrane sits inside every cartridge. It keeps needle tension steady through long, slow fine line sessions and stops ink and body fluids from flowing back into the grip and machine.
03 Polished 304 Long Taper Tips
We use Japanese-imported 304 surgical steel, ground to a long taper and mirror-polished. The fine, smooth point enters the skin with less resistance — less swelling, less trauma, and better visibility while you work.
04 Medical-Grade Housing
The shell is medical-grade polymer with a slim clear tip, so artists see the needle and ink at the working point. Low-friction inner walls keep the single grouping stable. The standard fitting works with most rotary machines and cartridge grips.
05 EO Gas Sterilization
Every cartridge is sealed in its own blister pack and sterilized with EO gas. Our sterilization process is validated under ISO 11135, with batch records kept for full traceability.
06 Two-Stage Quality Control
Every unit passes 100% visual inspection on the line. Then 30% of each batch is checked again under 100x microscopy for point alignment, solder quality, and grouping diameter — critical for super tight needles.
Why Tighter Means Cleaner
In any round liner, the line width follows the grouping diameter. Pull the needles closer together and two things happen: the point gets smaller, and less ink enters the skin per pass. That is why super tight liners hold a sharp edge where standard liners would feather out — and why fine line artists can pull thin lines without cranking up voltage or making extra passes. The trade-off is speed: these needles reward a slower, steadier hand. For bold, fast outlines, a standard RL is still the better tool.

The home ground of the super tight liner. Thin, even strokes that stay legible as they heal — no spread, no blurred edges.
Micro Script & Lettering
Small text punishes any ink spread — letters close up and turn unreadable. The tight point keeps every stroke separated and sharp.
Realism Micro Detail
Hair strands, eyelashes, cracks in stone — the secondary lines that give realism its depth. 1RL and 3RL super tights finish what bigger liners start.
Stipple & Dotwork
Tighter grouping means tighter dots. For stipple shading and dotwork gradients, super tights place each dot exactly where the artist intends.
