Turbo Round Liner Tattoo Cartridges for Fast, Bold Lines

R&G Bio manufactures turbo round liner tattoo cartridges for distributors, studios and brands who want bold, saturated lines at higher speed — with less dipping and less skin trauma.

The center needle is set slightly back, leaving an open ink channel in the middle of the grouping. The channel works as an ink reserve: the needle dips less often, feeds steadily and fills bold lines faster than a standard round liner. Sizes 3RL–14RL in #08, #10 and #12.

Every cartridge is EO gas sterilized, batch-coded for full traceability, and produced in ISO Class 7 cleanrooms under an ISO 13485 quality system. Review our certifications and compliance documents and see how we manufacture before you place a bulk order.

We support full OEM/ODM programs — housing colors, private labeling and custom packaging built around your brand, with factory-direct MOQs and tiered wholesale pricing.

Built Like a Medical Device, Priced for Wholesale

We control every step in our own factory, from needle grinding to sterile packing. Here is what goes into each turbo round liner cartridge.

01 Recessed Center Channel

The center needle sits slightly back from the tip point, leaving an open channel in the middle of the grouping. This channel stores ink inside the cartridge and feeds it steadily to the outer needles — fewer dips, faster lines, less trauma.

02 Safety Membrane System

A medical-grade elastic membrane sits inside every cartridge. It keeps needle tension steady during long lining sessions and stops ink and body fluids from flowing back into the grip and machine.

03 Polished 304 Needle Tips

We use Japanese-imported 304 surgical steel with mirror-polished tips. Smooth, sharp points mean clean penetration and less friction in the skin. Each grouping is soldered by machine, so the recessed center is identical across every batch.

04 Medical-Grade Housing

The shell is medical-grade polymer with a clear tip, so artists see the ink channel working while they line. Low-friction inner walls keep the needle stable. The standard fitting works with most rotary machines and cartridge grips.

05 EO Gas Sterilization

Every cartridge is sealed in its own blister pack and sterilized with EO gas. Our sterilization process is validated under ISO 11135, with batch records kept for full traceability.

06 Two-Stage Quality Control

Every unit passes 100% visual inspection on the line. Then 30% of each batch is checked again under 100x microscopy for tip alignment, solder quality, and center-channel depth.

Why the Open Center Matters

In a standard round liner, every needle meets at one point. Ink rides on the outside of the grouping and runs out fast. In our turbo liner, the recessed center needle opens a channel that acts as an ink reserve. The outer needles stay fed through the whole stroke, so lines stay bold from start to finish with fewer dips into the cap. Less dipping also means fewer interruptions, steadier hand speed, and less trauma on the skin — which is why traditional artists call this the fast liner.

Where Turbo Liners Work Best

One job: bold, saturated lines at higher speed. If the style is outline-driven and time matters, this is the needle.

Traditional & Neo-Traditional

Old school outlines must be bold in one pass. The ink channel keeps outer needles fed through long strokes, so corners and curves stay as dense as straight lines.

Filling Small Elements

Turbo liners do double duty: they outline and they fill. Small solid shapes — hearts, stars, dots of color — pack fast without switching to a shader.

Lettering & Script

Long letter strokes punish any drop in ink flow. The center channel keeps saturation even from the first stroke to the last, with no dry tails.

Blackwork & Long Sessions

Less dipping means steadier speed and fewer passes over the same skin. On big blackwork borders, that adds up to shorter sessions and easier healing.

Small Number, Fine Fast Line. Big Number, Bold Line Plus Fills.

Needle count sets the line width — and how much the turbo channel can fill. Match it to the job.

FAQs

A turbo liner is a round liner with the center needle set slightly back, leaving an open channel in the middle of the grouping. This channel stores extra ink inside the cartridge, so the needle dips less often and fills lines faster than a standard round liner. Some brands call the same idea a “hollow liner”. Note: a few brands use the word “turbo” for textured needles — that is a different design.

A standard round liner is soldered tight, with all needle tips meeting in one point. A turbo round liner is soldered a little looser, and its center needle is pulled back, so the middle holds a reserve of ink. In practice: the turbo liner dips less, lays bolder lines faster, and is gentler on the skin — while the standard RL gives the tightest, most controlled fine line.

Turbo round liners are used for fast, bold linework and for filling small tattoo elements: traditional and neo-traditional outlines, lettering, blackwork borders, and solid small shapes. Because the center channel feeds ink continuously, lines stay saturated from start to finish with fewer dips. For fine, delicate detail, a tight round liner is the better tool.

Both hold more ink than a standard RL, but they do it differently. A turbo liner stores ink in an open center channel; a textured liner holds ink in micro-grooves ground into the needle surface. Choose a turbo liner for smooth, fast flow on bold outlines and small fills; choose a textured liner for maximum single-pass saturation on heavy lines and whip techniques. Compare on our textured liner page.
